There are some activities that we know are right, and yet (sooner or later) they end up in the drawer with the words “I’ll do it another time”. There is a high probability that preparing masks with turmeric belongs to this group: mixing yellow mixtures yourself (always made in excess and after which you have to wash off) can be discouraging. However, there is no doubt that turmeric is simply great! It helps in faster healing of acne lesions, prevents discoloration and evens out the skin tone, sweeps away free radicals and protects the skin’s firmness. When you combine its action with full of goodness, moisturizing honey, soothing marigold, prebiotic inulin, nourishing shea butter, powerful vitamin C and clay absorbing impurities, you can be sure that care through masking is smooth, specific and complete.

What’s in the mask?

Marigold infusion – our favorite plant, marigold, counteracts irritation, accelerates healing and soothes – and that’s why we think it will be useful for every skin type, from persistently dry to oily and acne-prone

Shea butter – a mild, very universal and low-allergenic butter. It is characterized by a large content of natural vitamins A and E, which promote regeneration and soothe skin problems. It smoothes and elasticizes the skin. By creating a light protective film, it also protects it from the harmful effects of external factors.

Turmeric – an absolute cosmetic multi-talent (and our favorite). It works great for skin prone to acne and discoloration, thanks to its anti-inflammatory and color-evening effect. It is also a powerful ingredient that reduces visible signs of skin aging: it sweeps away free radicals, inhibits the destruction of elastin and improves blood circulation, which translates into firmness and a healthy, radiant appearance.

Kaolin – a delicate, white clay that absorbs impurities and tightens the skin’s pores without causing intense drying (which makes it suitable for various skin types, including sensitive skin).

Squalane – a close (and more stable) relative of squalene, which is one of the components of sebum produced by human skin, derived from olives. It replenishes the deficiencies in the lipid layer of the epidermis, retains moisture and protects, and is also light and non-comedogenic.

Honey – the sugars, waxes, pollens, proteins and volatile compounds contained in it are a feast not only for the palate. The moisturizing properties of honey make the skin smooth, feel comfortable and look radiant. Honey is also perfect for acne lesions, because due to its antibacterial effect it accelerates healing.

Inulin – a polysaccharide of plant origin that strengthens the skin’s protective barrier: it moisturizes, limits transepidermal water loss (TEWL) and has a prebiotic effect. It smoothes and soothes the complexion.

Isoamyl laurate – a plant-based emollient that retains skin moisture while making the balm light and smooth to spread.

Vitamin E – rightly called the vitamin of youth: it nourishes, regenerates, helps the skin recover from any irritation and slows down the aging process.

Vitamin C (here in the form of tetraisopalmitate) – a well-tolerated form of vitamin C, also by more sensitive skin types. Useful when we want to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin and renew the resources of hyaluronic acid in the skin. It protects against free radicals and helps lighten discolorations. Thanks to these abilities, it is worth using vitamin C to maintain the skin’s firmness and smoothness.

Cetearyl alcohol and cetearyl glucoside – give the mask a pleasant consistency.

Tonka bean extract – to warm up the scent

Xanthan gum and lactic acid – are responsible for the stable consistency and an additional dose of hydration

The mask is preserved with a mixture approved by, among others, Ecocert – benzyl alcohol and dehydroacetic acid. We added them in a minimal amount to prevent the development of harmful microorganisms.

And that’s all. We did not add any dyes or other unnecessary fillers.

The mask has something else to add from itself: Use me in your evening care, 2 times a week. I can leave a slightly yellow tint on the skin. It should disappear by morning, but if it is bothersome for you, you can wash your face with water and a mild cleanser after using me.
